This web log www.hostgatorreview.org is hosted with hostgator hosting, and is now almost 2 months hosted here and i been busy writing about hostgator reviews. This and that, and already cover most of the important features in hostgator hosting.
Setup Blog at hostgator is not hard, and the same to other hosting that offering cpanel. You will have two option, one to use the cpanel > fantastico, and setup the blog from there. Or you setup the blog manually using script downloaded from wordpress.org
Installation from fantastico is not problem at all, and only require few clicks and get the job done. Use this if you are not familiar with technical stuff.
For me, i will choose manual installation. Here is why i choose manual method:
- I can keep an exact copy of script at my local PC.
- Easy customization of script, and upload to server later on.
- Local backup purposes. Since i organise my local files together, i can easy backup them weekly. Always backup your data, you dont want to lost it.
