Lately i come across…again there is people asking why there is ads in hostgator user’s cpanel. Some host gator users don’t like to see ads or any extra thing at their control panel. This took me some effort to dig into more details of whats going on.. although i seen that ads on the first day i signup, and already seeing it more than 2 months time, and its not bother me yet!
So, i took another trip to hostgator account, login to cpanel, and capture this screenshot for everyone to see it here. Some new user that haven’t signup hostgator, here is how to advertisement will look like:

Its not look bad at all. This is my comment, and these are useful links. As i seeing and had tried, i clicked on the template monster, and its a “discounted template by template monster”… definately i will use this link when purchase new template from templatemonster.com.
Second links is adbrite, which is a fast growing online advertising company. Something like PPC, for example google adsense. Something more about adbrite is that they offering more service type, and i had seen that they selling text links as well. Which is extreme useful way for your website promotion, and even search engine ranking. And further more, they allow you to “sell adspace…”… a little income for you i guess.
Conclusion is, this is how the hostgator cpanel advertisement is look like, and its good features that i think worth to get highlighted. Since its an offer to hostgator user, cpanel would be the right place to put up these.
