From hostgator shared hosting plan and feature page, you can now see that fastcgi feature is now added to the supported feature list. Fastcgi is enhanced version of cgi, and it help to improve your website loading speed in average by utilizing server cache etc. To enable your hostgator fastcgi, you have to login hostgator cpanel, and go to fastcgi section to enable this feature.

Want to find out what’s Perl modules is being installed in Hostgator hosting server? I tried to search for this information from Hostgator website, but it’s not details enough. I would like to find the least of perl modules installed!
