15 minutes after I completed the ordering of hostgator hosting, I received the account activation email from sales@hostgator.com. The email content is simple, with:
- domain name
- username password
- IP address
- Name server
- cpanel login
and there is more…and i find it very useful to get started.
“There is a file called hostgator.html in your public_html folder. This page will give you basic links on getting started. Your welcome to delete this file or if you upload an index.html file in public_html, then the hostgator.html file will not come up by default.”

Hostgator Hatchling Package is the smaller plan, 50GB space, 200GB bandwidth per month. Host 1 domain, 20 email accounts, and unlimited MySQL database. Cpanel as well. Selling at $6.95, annual signup only.
This plan is suitable for budget user, of webmaster that look for single website solutions. Others features are basically similar to Hostgator BABY plan.
